I was suspended from ebay for atleast 7 days, possiable forever for shill bidding (spelling?).
someone on my work office wanted to buy something i was selling, so he put a bid in like i told him to, i figured it was only fair. now im banned for shill bidding. I emailed ebay, and they dont seem to care. they said after 7 days, email them again.

@ecs - Yeah I guess you ARE matey Good for you that it's only for a WEEK, was it your first? The most prudent thing to do I guess is to wait for those 7 days to lapse then mail the admin/mods at Ebay to clarify matters . . . I hope they WILL (should BE !). Cheers!

@ecs - Yeah, I hope it will NOT reach a MONTH of suspension pal The bad thing about this issue is that even when you tried mailing them in their personal emal addys to get some CLARIFICATIONS and the REST. . .they just DON'T care to respond Some people are not just FIT in the POSITION I guess Que sera sera, whatever will be will be the FUTURE is NOT ours to see ONLY . . .theirs !

man I i hate being banned from ebay had it done twice now lol, but yeh thats against ebays rules unforchantly, the problem is how did they link your mates account to you?

THATS what i was wondering!! maybe becuase we are on the same network? Or maybe possiably he went on ebay on my account, but Im not sure. That would explain it, but I dont tihnk he has been on my computer.

Does it show to other people that I was suspended?

Just e-mail them after the 7 days. They will ask you to e-mail them back, adding your name to a declaration that you will never do it again blah blah blah!

The same thing happened to me, but you'll have your account back in around 7 days.

@ecs - Let's say that thier explanation resulted to a FALSE/DERELICT one, will your REPUTATION in Ebay be affected in a way Do they have a section for BANNED members there?

No, there's no further action taken. The only thing is that if you have any items listed during the ban, they are removed without notification, and you lose the money for listing them.

But to answer your question - No. Nobody will ever know you've ever been banned.

Not that I have too much experience you understand. Was just unfortunate on one occasion!

thats what I was wondering too. I hope they DONT becuase i DIDNT do anything WRONG but, im going to write them a letter after 7 days and hope they will apologize I guess theres NOT much i CAN do

i DO hope that it ONLY lasts 4 days!!
