> Telephoto Camera Phone Lens - [review]

So I was at CES this weekend and came across a booth that had these AWESOME lil telephoto lens from a company out in japan! [

What is it? They are mini telephoto lens.. for your cellphone camera!
The one I currently have, which I got from the booth at CES is a combo wide angle / macro.
Here is a before and after sample that I just took outside of my store:

Theres a bit of a fisheye blur going on, but as you can see, it makes a huge difference! I'm sure if you zoom in a little bit, the fisheye blur should be fixed. Even so, you get so much more of a view!
Here are some shots of what they look like:
Wide angle form:

Macro form (on the right):

So how does the lens stay on the phone? On the lens itself, there is a little round magnet (which is not strong enough to do any damage to the camera/phone) which attaches to the phone. A lil metalic ring is applied (stuck) to the outter ring of your lens as shown:

..and attaches as shown:

..the magnet holds pretty well too!

here are some macro shots with the macro lens:

macro with no zoom:

So the guy at the booth was telling me these were some what in beta build.. patent is still pending. I really can't wait til they fully get these out!
Hope you all enjoyed some what of my small review!
-- UPDATE --
I'm sorry, I should've used [img] for my initial post!
The first pic I posted showing the wide angle was a bit too far.. here is a closer look of how much of a different the wide angle lens makes:

Still a bit of a fisheye blur, but much of a difference.. maybe when they improve the lens, the fisheye blur wont be there anymore?
And here are some macro shot differences without/with macro lens (used macro setting):

I read a few replies about the little washer thing outside of the camera lens.. it really isn't as bad as you think, the lens magnet sits right on the ring and the adhesive doesn't make any marks.. it actually kind of fits into the design:
( hehe see my k750? )
Well.. as I said before, these are just neat lil "toys" if you want to call em.. I'm hoping they improve these, because I wouldn't mind paying for better ones!

It's been shown here before or at least something very similar.
I would like to try it out my only concern being the possible damage with constant use of the magnet on the silver finish around the lens of my w800.

actually that was my concern too.. ive been worrying about the magnets... but i do use some belt-clip cases for my K750 the one that uses a magnet on the flip cover for it close on the flip.
so far it hasnt done any damage... tho i hope not on the latter part... but still im worried about magnets being close to my phone.

ive posted and searched about magnets here before.. and the main reply was that these magnets arent nearly as powerful enough to do any type of damage

I think the point of concern is not exactly the kind of damage it will do to the phone's functionality but rather to physical damage -- scratching on the areas near the lens.

Maybe so, but are you carrying a REAL camera in you pocket right now?
