Its an optical illussion of sorts....It just gives me a headache.

eastcoaststar...for some reason with one eye shut you get a slightly different effect.

Basically what's happening is your mind percieves the image as evidence that your eyes are misaligned (like when you go cross eyed and see double), and then tries to "correct" the misalignment

not likely because the three dimensions add enough ques for the brain to recognise it as "real". Also there would be slight differences for example both sets of eyes won't be identical (the way a third limb is mutated compared to the two "normal" limbs, or a third nipple is smaller or a different colour than the two normally positioned nipples) so the brain will easily tell that it is real.
