This isn't exactly breaking news.... I saw the launch ceremony (on the 2nd, I live in bangalore) its a prototype for bio-energy being used to charge a tiny cell, the IC is just to show any application.

Well for us it is....

quite a unique concept of having a IC in a bindi...next they'll be putting IC's in bellybutton piercings.

Its my Birthday Today ! (Something not within my control.. duhh ! )
& I dint have to 'do' anything about it... & am Drunk (with a capital D)

I doubt what/ or "if" the Bindi IC really does anything...

But am happy that (we) Indians are doing stuff (even if seemingly periph'lal) that 'might' make difference...

BtW- Axxxr keep us posted on the 'paper thin' battz too...
And "Debu" get your a_ _ back to SE India thread please !

Otherwise we put a bindi, on your head, with an IC programmed to release audio of Billy Gates Vista speech on your ears...

Sorty... I am really high on Liquor (novice ) ... B'day bad Boy !!

Thanxo....

I shouldn't drink too much Bacardi.. wen I cann't digest it !

Damn.. its 0230 in the morning...

axxxr do you think most technologies at time get over rated?

I mean Sony's tape (VHS standard) or the current HD DVD vs Blu ray project might get too .. run of the mill/ taken for granted by the time y/our kids take center stage on Esato ??

I know exactly how you feel....i was like that last night drinking bacardi aswell.

Not at all....in certain cases some of the technolgies do,but thats just the way with tech....newer,better,faster..more uptodate will always be make the old stuff obsolete...by the time my kids make their presence felt im sure blue-Ray will be like VHS today...just the way tech evolves...but thats a good thing.

Sure... it "is" a good a good thing thing..

The future .. is what is scary...

Like in hindi we say ... hamare zamane mei.... aka in our times....

& then we rant about .. how in good old 2005/ 2006 Blu Ray was the rage... with 5-10- 20 watever GB capacity n the kids giving us that embarras'd ... 'old hag' look... you know what I mean...

Does it have to run soo fast for us to catch up.. Murphy's Law et al..
Proc'sor speed doubl' is taken for granted now a days...
But it does involve real work... are we surpassing ourselves .. as far as tech'logy is concerned...

Sorry to sound surreal.. we are mythology driven / fatalist kinda guys here !!

I mean WTF.. Bindi IC's , Aibo the Robo getting old news, Bangalore getting (future tense) WiFi connected, Axxxr's posts on alleged 'news' doesn't turn heads anymore !!

Are we de sensitized or what ! ? ?
Is it right/ good ?
