I have search around for solutions, in vain.
1. Firstly, I do not have voicemail at all.
2. I recvd a sms w/ strange wordings accompanied w/ a voicemail?
3. After I delete that sms, the voicemail icon remained.
4. The issue is I do not have voicemail service at all.
How do I get rid of it?

If I remember correctly, someone had this problem before, and it's to do with your provider rather than the phone, so you'll have to speak to them. They need to do something to stop the signal that's telling your phone that there's voicemail

Wow... That technical? My telco is in Singapore... I doubt they know anything about this, except $...
I suspect the voicemail icon came from that spamming SMS... Well, I will call back that number, perhaps there's a clue there...
