Help!!

I have just had my phone unbranded with generic R3 firmware to get rid of the orange flavoured fw. I then tried the V2 update service to update the firmware to R5. The phone was recognised by the software and the newest firmware was downloded to my PC but towards the end of the phone update cycle I received an error which stated that there was a scripting error or something and I should start over. I did this but now the phone is not being recognised. I took the phone off the deskstand but I can't even get it to turn on now! I've tried different batteries in it too. Also, when I put it in the deskstand the little green light on the deskstand is not coming on.

Has anyone experienced this themselves?? I'm starting to panic !!

i would send it to the s/e service centre, sounds like seus has killed you're phone. or you can you use davinci, depends if you have warranty really.

SEUS has a special "Recovery mode", have you tried it?

Thanks for the advice but I have taken it back to the shop that originally did the flash to flush out the Orange FW. They have managed to reinstall the FW. Unfortunately it is not he latest version (ie R5B01) but I will live with it. Don't want to risk this happening again!!

Happened to my P900. Try the recovery option. If that does not work, it is the service center.

i hope you are not going to put an orange sim back in it because it will get locked again and it will get the ORANGE app back.
flash my 900 to a 910 but after about two months i got a sim update from orange and bobs your uncle all back

This is strange. Yes, I have re installed my Orange sim card and yes the phone is locked to orange as I have also tried an O2 sim card but I'm not sure that the flash procedure alone unlocks the phone. This is according to the guy who carried out the work at the phone shop. I have previously had my phone flashed by another company who also unlocked the phone. I was able to switch between my Orange and O2 sim cards without a problem, and yes I also had the Orange app on the phone. So the question is, does flashing alone unlock a mobile or is a separate procedure required? Anyone?

Using a generic firmware DOES NOT unlock your phone.

To unlock phone for use with any network requires a separate unlock process.
