okay, in my office we have a few XP home and a few XP pro systems. Is there any software out there that will allow one of the HOME systems to be able to see what the other systems are doing?

note, I AM NTO DOING ANYTHING ILLIGAL, this is for the office use, and the office use only.

it is a wireless network (laptops).

any help will be appreciated. thanks

I only have XP pro but doesn't home also have "remote assistance" which lets you do what you want, and more?

i believe only pro has remote assistace
isnt that part of what makes pro and home different?

im pretty sure home doesnt have remote assistance

according to microsofts Step-by-Step Guide to Remote Assistance its says...

Configuration Requirements

• Two computers running Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional or Windows XP Home Edition. Both computers must be connected to the Internet.

which sounds like XP home has it too? appologies if I'm incorrect

Im 100% sure of that xp home edition has the remote assistance function since i used this many times both to control and to be controlled by an xp home system This message was posted from a T230
