How do you un-install SE Mobile Phone Monitor (MPM)

Even after uninstalling SE software, using the original CD, the MPM is still there in the Control Panel of WIN XP SP2.

Background: My OS is WIN XP SP2 and I use blue tooth.
I installed Sony Ericsson Communication Suite 1.1.1 (XTNDConnect and File manager) for a T610 and every thing was fine and dandy.

Now I have a K700i phone and the recommended software is Sony Ericsson Sync Station 1.5.5.3c and the same file manager.

I am assuming that both T610 and K700i cannot be synchronized on the same computer. Please tell me if I am correct.

So I tried to uninstall the old XTND and all the T610 software before installing the new software for K700i. I cannot get rid of the SE Mobile Phone Monitor. How do I remove it completely and is it necessary to remove.

Go to control panel > add or remove program
Thats all what you need!

If some of the files are remaining there just delete if manually!

Couple of points to clear up:

1) You can sync a T610 and a K700i on the same pc, whilst you'll have to use 2 different sync packages (XTND and the SE pc suite for the K700i) its entirely possible to keep them both on the same PC.

2) Mobile Phone monitor will be installed by each package, if you want to sync EITHER phone you'll need to have this on your pc. It also helps identify your phone to your PC.

Is it essential? Yes, it is.
