Hey back again, just wondering i know the W550 supports atrack/aac files but what the best way to get them on the phone???
does disc 2 phone do them??? seeing as though its the software they bundle with it???
Any help would be appreciated...

Atrac is not supported by the walkman phones. You need special magicgate devices to play ATRAC

Like i said i have troulbe transfering the songs to my w800i when i unplug the usb cable i cant see all of my song or they get erased any ideas of what i can do to solve this problem????

@ Eder I suspect thats a firmware bug, take a look at the first post on
K750/W800 Firmware Overview thread to find out what firmware your running (i expect R1N035) and for possible fixes/solutions. This bug isnt apparent in the latest firmware, however there are reports of newer bugs so i would have a good read through that thread first before considering upgrading.

@peterpan, if the version of disc2phone you got with your w550 doesnt support AAC, then download the new version off the sonyericsson site, as that one does. If thats what you mean! im not so sure, you sound confused

No ive got a NW-HD3 which supports Atrac and my w550 supports aac, ive not been bothered with Disc2Phone as i takes ages to convert to set Kbps...
just been using itunes to rip the audio cd and dumping then via file manager...after converting to aac...
whats the best way to get best compression and speed of music onto the phone...
cant find anything that comes close to my HD3 and sony connect
