I purchased a sony ericsson k750 from hong kong and i was able to use it there, although the reception was weak. Now i'm back in canada (rogers wireless) and i'm not able to pick up any signal at all. it keeps saying 'searching' on the standby screen, and on occassions it'll say 'no network coverage'.
the phone is unlocked.
i've been told that i have the wrong software for the 1900 support? is this true?
anyone have any ideas as how to fix this?

I have the R1L002 software version, I don't know if this is a really old version for it?
