Check out this extremely huge 40 MB yes 40 MB Hard Drive from 1985 and was selling at the time for $40,000 thats about £20,000....its amazing how far we have come,I suppose we will all be laughing at todays 300GB HD's aswell in 20 years time.

I remember pulling a 10GB SCSI drive out of an old machine once that was the size of four cdrom drives stacked on top of eachother. When it was new it would have cost about $5000 dollars.

I also remember scrapping an old word processor that was the size of a large desk. It didn't have any hard drive storage, and used 160K floppy disks as big as a frisbee. The monitor was an 8" monochrome. It was as heavy as two fridges.
