Hi all!

I've recently made a "master reset-all settings" of my k750i.
My problem is that my photo index was also reset to "zero".
This is a big problem for me as I don't want to rename all my new pictures to avoid name conflicts

Is there a way to force starting index?

not that i'm aware of. the best way would be to rename the photos taken already with a batch pic software like Picasa...

You shouldn't keep the pictures counter going on forever since things like this are bound to happen...

You should consider resseting it (through the camera menu) for every "set" of pictures (if you download them by days, weeks, vacations, whatever)

Sorry, but the only solution will be to rename the already taken ones with a batch renamer; which are everywhere available for download.

Sure, I know I can use batch renamer... but my opinion is that the phone must do this "so simple job"!

But, hopefully... I did it... I found a workarround!

After reset the phone, my first picture is named DSC00001...
I've renamed it as DSC01429, which was my last picture before I reset the phone...
And "abracadabra"... the next picture Iv'e taken is named DSC01430!

It seems that K750i has lots of hidden functionality!
Why does'nt SE make an official manuel of "tips&tricks"...
