Although I'm not certain I would say not to get one on orange because like vodafone they may be allowed to brand it.

No-one could brand the W800 even Voda. But now the W900 on Voda has ALL its icons etc changed, totally crap. So IMO orange may also be allowed to brand.

Try O2 online for the best deals, although now you can make an online contract in-store. But O2 online send you the phone (so you dont get it there and then) and you need internet to view your bill.

best on o2 seems to be

250 netime ne1 mins, 50 texts £35 a month

handset price £50

first 3 months, double txts n mins, so for 1st 3 months 500 mins and 100 texts

Total for year : £469.99

Quite alot at the moment

Yeah don't go for branded ones (although debranding is available)
I don't know about SE buying out 3, although to me unless you mean in the handsets they supply this would be pointless as it is a manufactorer buying a service provider. Also I don't think 3 will ever stop selling other brands, especially NEC and LG although they sell Nokias too.
