> sending sms using palm and k700i

Does anyone know if this can be done? Is there an update somewhere? I can use the phone dialler with my palm tx and k700i but cannot send sms.

from your palm, launch the bluetooth window and click on Prefs. next click on Setup Devices, then Phone Setup and pair your phone with your palm.
once that is done, then start up the SMS app on your palm and you can send/receive SMS from the palm.
the default option on the palm is that when you check for SMS messages, it deletes the copies on the phone so may or may not want to disable that in the options/preferences menu.
also, bear in mind that the palm does not associate phone numbers in SMS messages with your address book entries so unless you memorize the phone number of the message sender, you won't know who sent it unless you check the caller ID on the copy of the message in your phone.
