I left my phone at the flash point to update it to R5A from R2F006, went for a coffe like I usually do, and then I come back to get my phone and I see that not only they didn't put R5A but they put me the old soft R2E that I had two months ago! Wtf!!

It was some new kid who had probably just failed high school or something...

Hadn't the time to get it back to R2F, but apparently R5A isn't available here in Switzerland...

Does anyone has any info on when it will be release? Or why it isn't already?

Thanks!

The local service points reportedly stopped the upgrades for still unknown reasons. This post was posted from a T68i

Hi! I heard R5A wasn't available in Switzerland (canadian version or sth like that..??). The equivalent in our country would be R2F006.

@Newton: I have R3B at the moment. Is it true that in the further versions the italian T9 disappears??

@ doowap

First of all I have no memory of any soft version named R3B (you might be talking about hardware maybe which doesn't have anything to do with the language settings)

But, to go straight to the point, I actually only have english, german & french in my language options.
But this is something you can set when you do the upgrade, they have multiple language soft for the same version number (MMS-EU2, MMS EU3, etc...) and I'm sure they do have one with french and italian and english or german, italian and english, you should go to your service point, ask to choose it for yourself.

But yes, since the MMS update which takes a lot more space than previous the previous T68m soft, they don't have an "All-language-in-one soft". But they usually come with 3 or 4, so you gotta choose it right!

R3B was the previous US version of the firmware for T68i...

the firmware for T68i (except R2F which is available for some countries) is removed for unkwown reasons ( has not even informed their helpdesk)... might be due to some of the bugs that has been found in R5A...

@Newton: I confirm my SW version is R2B025, I bought my second T68i last week with this SW pre-installed and with french, german, english and italian languages on it. So I wondered if any further update would also come with all those languages!?
