Hello,

Everytime I try to attach a videoclip to a MMS on my SE K750i, I get the message, that it is impossible because the MMS gets too big!

- Is there a max. size of MMS?
- Something I have missed?
- Is there a setting in the phone to fix this?

TIA,
Pistolprinsen

The max filesize for an MMS is 100kb, if a file goes over this it won't send the MMS. There should be an option when taking video somewhere (not sure exactly as don't have a K750i) of limiting the video length to MMS size, so it should then automatically stop recording when the max sending size is reached

The size of MMS on K750i is different.. Seems that ppl who buyed the phones last year before any software uppdating could send MMS up to 300Kb !! I got the same problem not being able to send above 100K..Gonna call SE tomorrow and ask them WHY this mambojumbo shity discrepancy. [I called my operator today and he told me that I can send MMS on theyr net up to 300K !!]

@sammy - Yeah, that's what I know of too mate, maximum of 100 KB file on MMS . . . but I was surprised to see that I can send files on my P800 having a capacity of - 110 KB (maximum) - MMS I did not alter the local network's settings though, as it can be . . .

max file size for MMS is network dependant.

in the UK, the operators have different limits they have set for MMS, between 300Kb and 500Kb.

How about receiving then?

Say, if I'm on a net, which allows me to send MMS up to 300 kb, and I send such a MMS to a buddy of mine, who's service provider only allow 100 kb MMS on their net.

Will he still receive it then?

Reason for asking is that sometimes (not always) when people are sending me MMS, I do not receive the MMS, but instead a normal SMS with an URL, telling me that I can go a read my MMS on that link.
