Hi everyone!
I just got my new T68i from AT&T. I would like to unlocked because I want to use it in Spain with another service provider.
Could anyone tell me the webpage of a good place where I could send my phone to unlock? Is there any place in the Dallas Area?
Thank you!! I think this forum is GREAT!!

Welcome to Esato, mate.
Contact
AT@T, explain your situation and I'm sure they will be able to help. If you are going to Spain they might be able to unlock it for the time you are there or they will reccomend a roaming partner where your phone will work.
Good luck, and have good time here at Esato (and in Spain).

You can unlock it easly (20€) in Spain.
If you can understand spanish visit
www.gsmspain.com, there is a trade forum where you can find what you need.

Good luck with AT&T (US), if you figured out how to get them to unlock your T68i, please let me know. I've tried various calls to 611 and their GSM migration team, visiting local stores and stores in other cities, acting out from being friendly, nice, reasonable to demanding, bitchy and irate. So far, no success. Their replies are:
1) It's their f*cking policy that they can't unlock phones, and
2) They are not ashamed to say that they want you to roam overseas so they can make extra money out of you, and
3) Unlocking? huh? your phone is locked? how?
Please search for my other post in this forum which has a link for remote unlocking.
Sorry guys, if you are from other parts of the world, this locked-down phone business may sound strange. Yes, mobile life in the US is so difficult! *grin*

Thanks a lot!!!
pxus, thank you for the link. I will take a look on it to see if I find a place to unlock my phone in Spain. If not, I found a webpage from a company in Orlando that do it for $40.
Thanks again!

Hi I bought this t68 phone from ebay for 220$ and was supposed to be a unlocked phone. I wanted to send it to india for my bro . Now people are telling me that it may be locked .
How can I check that if it is locked or not? What is the cheapest way?
DO I have to buy a SIM card to do this. I don't need SIM card otherwise , since i am sending it to india.
Any help is appreciated!
