> help: k750i sound gone dead

Hi.. all of a sudden all the sound output (ringtones, speakers) just went dead... No sound when i want to play music (both speaker and headset), when the other party calls, i can't hear their voice but they can hear mine... also, when I put on the headset to call, still no sound... except i could hear the radio.. the only thing that works -_-"
I tried taking out the battery and the Memory stick but didn't seem to help... it went dead for 3 hours already... can you please tell me what's goin on? thanks!

i had an issue like this once as well baffled the hell out of me, it is i believe f/w because after i flahsed it after a while it would happen again (after 5-10 tries) and is is also slow on startup and the menus? just be chance are you on virgin?

thanks for your support. i'm in Bangkok, so i'm using the service provider here. I am confused why my k750's sound output goes totally dead once after a while. It started to work again after my first post on this topic, and goes dead again for no apparent reason.
Speaker doesn't work (including the non-loudspeaker), ringtones doesn't work; yet, the mic works, and radio works with my earphones on.
So I suppose it's a firmware issue right? I'll go upgrade my firmware and see what happens... currently using R1L002.

maybe thers a part there where the hardware issues steps in, like loose connections on some circuits stuff like that. if you have already flashed your K750 and it starts happening again then i can conclude that its a hardware issue..

I updated my software with SEUS to the latest one.. R1A0008 or something like that... then I went to Sony to get it fixed...but after 2 weeks in the service center I learned that the problem still exists!! I am sure going to change to a new phone.. my k750i is acting very strange on me and I am very annoyed. All I can listen to is the radio (headset and speakers).. other than that, absolutely no freakin' sound!
Bye bye K750i... please tell me a good reason why I should continue using SE. Thanks anyways guys for your input.
