Since the Haier P7 we havn't really heard much from them until now that is with the Arrival of the Haier P8,which has far better features compared with the P7,mainly the addition of bluetooth.

Nothing spectacular specs wise and probably very expensive. It might be narrow but it looks quite long.

i agree, never seen the appeal of the pen phones, no features, and doesnt even have any style to make up for that fact

If ever did want a Pen Phone it would only be the Panin&Farina designed Motorola...shame then its only a concept.

Is there a release date. I like these phones ever since the P5. Would make a good back up phone imo.

P8 will be available from April. As a fan of Pen phone series I can say only on thing: disgusting! The P7 was another overpriced phone with strange design but P8 looks like a Korean low-end devise from LG. The only way to make this idea work was to create luxurious devises with metals or other high-class materials used, as we see on Nokia 7280 technology provides manufactures with the possibility to make a really small pen phone with enough functions included, but this year Haier is making another mistake making the phone with the ugliest design ever since the P5.

In my opinion that cannot be called a pen phone, it is way too big. The shape perhaps remotely resembles a pen.. but not the size. By looking at those photos I feel that it would be larger in volume compared to some of today’s compact phones like the Panasonic A100.And it looks ugly !:puke:
