I believe the ballpark figure given was 100 meters, as it makes use of Bluetooth 2.0.

just letting you all know... Bluetooth 2.0 does NOT mean 100 meter radius. It means more stable connection and faster transfer rate. Less battery consumption, and even multi-linking (becuase of the higher transfer rate)

what about the blutooth headsets? what range do they have? suppose we use the p990 with a normal se headset that has a range or 10m will it go up to 100m with a p990?

no, it will only work as far as 10m (as thats the weakest link)

you have to buy a Bluetooth v2.0 headset to get 100m
not sure if theres any available yet (to the public anyway)

@eastcoaststar: but the old p910 has 100m right? So we could assume (without making an ass of you and me :p) that se will not degrade the bluetooth range for a top of the line phone right? ;-). This message was posted from a Z1010

No the p's before only had 10m range.
also the new p990 only has bluetooth 1.2 and not 2.0
still doesnt answer the range question though.
