Is it possible to have different ringtones selected for different profiles (same for message alerts)?
This seems like something so simple but I cant see it anywhere.

Yes. When you are in the profile you like, just go into the sound settings and change to the ringtone you want to use for that profile. Then when you change to a different profile, the ringtone setting goes to whatever one you set for that profile.

Thats what I assumed but it doesnt seem to work. I have a profile named SLEEP and I'd like to assign it a ringtone and message alert similar to a single beep (which I've made as a sound file) so it will wake me but I wont actually need to do anything if I choose to ignore it.
If I make the changes to the ringtone on any selected profile then it seems to be universal for all the other profiles. The volume and vibrate etc seem to be as I'd want but I cant get it to play different rings depending on the profile. I have to go in and change the ringtone every night =(

it happens to me too, if i change a ringtone for "outdoors" profile my for example "normal" profile get the changed ringtone also....but i dont have a problem with that

Yeah... is not that the other ringtone's profiles are changed; there is no ringtone profile: you only set one for all of them.

Also, we should be able to change the volume of all alerts, like message and low battery.

I find this very irritating. It would be good to be able to assign different ringtones to different profiles because say what if you want to put a loud MP3 tune for your loud profile and then put a quiet bleep or alert sound for the silent profile- you can't!

And even you assign mute to message alert, the message delivery report still alerts as default. R1AA008. There are many things should be done. This message was posted from a WAP device

In the K700 you can set different ringtones for each profile. As usual, select the profile and then change...
The 'message delivered' noise stays the same loud thing though, unfortunately.
Bizarre that this does not work in the k750.
