I couldn't update to R1A0088 because no broadband internet-I have tried with ordinary internet connection-but it was extremely slow update via seus-then,my local se doesn't have the latest f/w..so,am I a fool?

do you have a real need to update? if not then don't worry too much!

It's a pitty SEUS didn't let you download the firmware first then flash it from the local drive...

Concidering SEUS is free.

Anyway ~ SEUS takes to long to startup on my PC and I use the phone to connect to the web so it's a none starter.

DaVinci is probably your best option ~ although it'll cost (PayPal).

But why bother, as post above ~ no problems.

Its highly unlikely you'll suffer from the bugs mentioned in R1N, so theres no need to update to R1A, all it really does is edit some of the memorystick code and update the colour control of the screen, you've got the latest camera software, so until you really can update, you've got no worries mate!
