> getting rid of the operator name

Hi ! im a newbee ! i got a new t68i the problem is that i want my phone logo-signal gone, im from the philippines and my logo-signal is "ph globe", how do i get rid of it ? i just want to enjoy the beauty of my background picture with out the annoying ph globe ... help please .....

Welcome to Esato.
Go to the menu by directioning the joystick left or right.
Go to Fun & Games
Go to My Pictures
Select the desired picture you want as a background
Press the YES button when selected
Click YES on 'Set as background' option
Press the NO key as many times as required to get to the main screen
You should now have the new picture as your background

You can't change / remove the operator's name from your screen.
Feel free to visit the Pinoy chit chat thread, where you can ask similar topics to the other guys. (but please make sure you have search ESATO already - a lot of peope hate recurring questions)

Who said that you cannot remove that.
Here's how.
1. Remove your Globe Sim Card.
2. Try to use Smart Sim Card.
3. Now you dont have Globe PH
it is now ..........

the logo cannot be removed unless you edit the theme using the same color for both logo and background !!!
