Have you guys noticed that everything (almost everything) we asked for in new model SE phone has been granted??
I remember asking why the W800/K750 didnt have EDGE and now they have it??
You think the SE boys are reading??

we had a similar discussion about this last month where I confirmed that several SE representatives from Sweden confirmed to me at the recent smartphone show that they do
they don't always react to requests as quick as we might like though

pls bring down the prices of ur mobile phones,memory cards and also be the first in the industry to pamper us with ur technology that envies other brand mobile phone users.we dont mind which global position u guys stand...just make ur customers the KING.

have their own fairly large 'user group' evaluating and testing their phones I guess here (and at similar sites like se-nse). If enough people on here complain about, mention, or praise a particular feature, problem etc. then it would be picked up on and perhaps action taken. For example quite a few people were unhappy about the amount of noise in the W550i's low light pictures - first firmware update that becomes available and the camera firmware is updated! They've even fixed the speaker/loudspeaker test function in the service menu too!

If they bring down the prices then they will have to reduce the spending on research and development which will mean less cutting edge technology and probably less reliable phones.
You cant have it all ways.

If they got things right in the first place rather than use us as guinea pigs, they wouldn't have to keep updating the firmware. Some of the problems are quite basic and should be ironed out before a phone is released, not subsequently fixed because we all complain about it in a forum. What about those people who don't read forums or know about the update service? Many people just want a phone and expect it to work properly without endless updates.

@Victor017. Walkman branded handsets don't have the lens cover as they are not imaging orientated.
That's the theory anyway!!

This things do not work like that.
Once the management decides about the design,content, features of the phone, there is no going back.
They will never add a lense cover for W810 simplly because that model is already "locked" from business aproach point of view.
It has been launched on their web site and it is simplly not professional to add something like that. The real phone will not be as the one on the web site and this will create disrespect and distrust for buyers.
The company must be consistent.
Lens cover do you want?Wait for W850 or something.
SE is doing a business there and everything is driven by money and customer satisafaction.But they need to be consistent in what they do.
It is nice from them to read these posts.We all want price reductions of course, but don't forget that they also have R&D costs, manufacture costs and profit margins.
The balance between volume sells and profit is always a big deal for these companies.
Sometimes a company simplly can't drop the price.They start loosing money if they do and this is not good for them.
