I just love comments like this.... Of course it was visible, you opened the box!
The V3 never fails to astound me. As a dealer, I have never sold a worse quality phone (and I mean that from the bottom of my heart) I try warning people that its really just a cool looking pile of poo, but they still buy it!
Why?
Cos its an unusual colour! I recon if Motorola factory workers sprayed them with scent of scunk, they'ed still sell.
Anyone want to put this to the test? ... anyone?

i wouldnt want to scratch it but couldnt be arsed keeping it in a leather case all the time so i would end up scratching it. i dont know why so many people like the v3. i can understand it looks good but the features and gui really suck.

It is a crap phone, the worst UI i've used in ages. The keypads design is crap (unless you've got really big hands). Worst phone of 2005 imo!

can I just remind people the D&G is a V3i, not a V3 as mentioned in a couple of replies here.
as such, it is different from the various colours available for the 15 month old V3 specs in that it offers a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, external memory capability and other features that bring it a little more up to date, although yes it does still sport the same GUI which I personally don't see the problem with, but thats me
edit: btw, I'd have one of these D&G V3i when I can find one for a sensible price
