Hello everyone.
Loads of mates don't seem to know that you can access the full internet on a regular phone with gprs.
A company called Opera have a browser (java application) called Opera Mini. It will allow you to access the full internet through gprs.
It works by compressing (rendering) the webpages on their server in Norway before transmitting to your phone. It is super quick, and is just like a regular web browser.
At the moment they seem to be allowing anyone to download the latest version for free for a limited time.
Easiest way is to get onto
http://mini.opera.com/ using wap from your phone. Then simply select the download link.
It is common knowledge but many seem to not know. Didn't want you all to miss out on the opportunity. It is a fantastic browser (I win all the pub quizzes off it!! he he).

Thanks for the heads up but we have known about this for quite some time (doing a search would have revealed this).
