Just updated via SEUS,and succeeded..but,when I applied Eternal theme,also Wave,Tiles theme-which should have had animated highlight-it failed to work. Wondering if it happened to you too. Apply one of the themes above,say Eternal,then observe the highlight! It won't show any animation! Then,press 'info' somewhere in the menu so that there'll be a pop up appearing. The highlight image corrupts!!

IT'S ONLY FOR THEMES WITH ANIMATED HIGHLIGHT such as Eternal,Tile,Wave-all SE original. Other themes without animated hěghlghts work FINE! help me,guys!

But,then reboot your phone. NO PROBLEM. Then,change theme like I said before.It's there AGAIN.Is it only me?

Something else is happening to my phone though, I had this problem with all previous firmwares: Randomly through the day, the icon highlight image in the main menu is not being displayed and a black box is there instead of it... While this happens, the theme background from the standby menu is gone and the problem goes on... if someone calls me and I have asigned a photo to this contact, the photo is not displayed and the ringing tone of my choice is lost... "Sony Ericsson" default ringtone is played instead. The only way to fix this is to reboot the phone... Until it happens again eventually... It's pretty annoying and it's not happening to my phone only, many friends of mine have the same problem and it applies to both K750i's and W800i's... I've commented about this problem to many forums but noone has found a solution...

So unlucky I am..anyone else having the same problem? May be we can call it a bug? I'm not an expert though..any trick to avoid this theme corruption? Have tried re-downloading files,it remained corrupted.

I get the same problem with themes on the latest firmware to, the only solution I have found is as you have said, to re-boot the phone.

This problem also occurs in the W550i. I went through 3 handsets and they all had this problem, with one of them crashing everytime I replied to an SMS. First animations would refuse to display correctly and then you would get the black box on the desktop and no sound.
My K750i has crashed a couple of times but I try to remember to reboot it once a day as suggested in the manual and this avoids the problem.
It looks like a memory problem and from what I have heard it is more common in branded phones than unbranded.

My previous R1N035 didn't show this missing highlight image. Only after I upgraded it via SEUS II.I thought my flash files weren't complete.Anyway,I found a trick. Apply the troublesome theme via Settings-Display-Themes-Set. NO PROBLEM occured.Or File Manager-Theme album-choose the theme-Set.It still shows no animated highlight image.Then,go to StandBy.Press left softkey/Call. It works perfectly!

the themes in my K750 also messed up after updating via SEUS2. however try to delete these themes in your phone and try copying it again.. that trick worked for me...

Re-installing the troublesome themes didn't work. They still corrupt. I wonder why it only happened on the .gif animation highlight. The .png or .jpg highlight didn't. Any explanation? My Oceanskyscraper,Foglight just work fine because they have no animated hěghlight..
