Hi guys.

I bought a K750i on ebay. The description said a few scratches, which I thought I'd live with so I bid and won the phone.

When I recieved it the joystick was unbelievably bad. If I push down it acts as if I have pushed it in to select and moving left is almost as bad.

Does anyone know of a place that does repairs in th UK at a fair price, I don't fancy soldering a new joystick myself (unless it's just the button needs cleaning). If it is cheap enough it will be a better option than an ebay dispute, if not I'll do that and try and wait for another cheap one.

Cheers for any advice guys.

NW England if that helps with dealers.

Hey convert- i have a k750i and its doing the exact same thing. Im going to get it rapaired/replaced because its under warrently. The problem is acutally a software problem believe it or not. I'll bet that when you have a problem, if you exit to the main screen and then go back to the menu u were in, the problem may be gone.

Ive noticed that the joystick will work perfectly somtime, and then suddently it will not go down AT ALL. No matter if i spent 10 minute just hitting down, with slightly differnt angles or pressures, it just will not go down at all. Then if I exit the menu or leave it for a while it works perfectly again.

Also, somtimes when imwriting a text, and try to scroll down, it doesn't let me, HOWEVER, the blinking curser pauses everytime I press down... so although I cant scroll down, the phone actually in part responds to me hitting down on the joystick- so it HAS to be software problem. Somone here ages ago said it was a software problem and it really is.

You need to flash you phone, and put in the latest firmware... Its not the joystick thats broke- theres no point taking your phone apart and cleaning it etc.

hope this points you in hte right direction.
