hi, thinking of doing this too, seen a lovely black one on ebay, but do you know where i can find fitting instructions for it, and did you find it hard putting on the new casing?

You'll find a nice guide here:

I just changed to a replica cover from ebay. It looks quite similar to the original one but some buttons are getting stuck / not working and the wheel doesn't work properly. At a closer look it's also painted unprofessionally.

I wouldn't recommend going for anything but the original covers.

How disappointed am I? I was considering getting a replacement cover off eBay, a black one just like you said for the p910. My case is split left right and centre coz I work in the ahem 'security' industry'

But I suppose any case will be an improvement on the one I have now... Are there any original SE covers that are an alternative color rather than the grey/charcoal sorta color??

Thanks in advance...

Dont think there are any originals that are a different colour. I got a black one off e-bay when I had my P900, and if your case gets battered I don't think a non original casing would last long, they are very flimsey, I never even put mine on, I just sold it again.

This place does cases and is rather good.

hmm..... looks a bit tricky, i replaced a long aerial with a short onje on my GX-30i which was a similar method to that, and there was always a bit that was slightly open, because there was no longer a seal. Thanks for the heads up!

is there anyone who could do it for me (e.g. i send it off to a company and they do it) if so, how much?

I don't think its as hard as it looks, the phone comes apart quite easily, you just need to take care, thats all. I took mine to bits and it went back together ok.

This image will show you basically what it will look like.
