> P900 Replacement, What should it be?
Bookmark topic
Hello to all of you. Might be a long read but please help as I know most of you are capable of doing that!.
Last week my P900 was stolen luckily I had it insured. My claim has been proven and I have paid the excess fee.
Since P900, P910i are no longer available in the market (UK). And also the fact that P990 Has not been released yet my Insurance company agreed to replace me with a phone worth upto £500..
They first offered me a treo 650 but I hate the looks of it, Then I named a few other pda/mdas to see whether they were within the price range, which are:
MDA Compact II
MDA Compact III ( I think the lady meant MDA III not compact as far Im concerned Mda compact hasnt been released yet, correct me if im wrong)
MDA Co-Pilot ( Co-Pilot is the navigation system with GPS, but Im not too sure which MDA I will get with this)
O2 XDA IIs
O2 XDA IIi
I know most of the XDA's and MDA's are same but different names for different networks..
Now Can I have the PDA/MDA geniuses to recomment me a few of the best and the expensive PDAs
I want it to be close to that £500 mark

, I have 12 hours to decide so any help within the time will be appriciated

And since the P990 will not be out on the market within 12 hours that is not an option...
What about a Qtek 9100 (if pda phone) or Qtek 8310 (if candybar)?

Jas Jar Exec I believe is same as O2 XDA Exec, which Is only available on line rental at the moment. Not sim Free And I also dont think it is within the price range of £500

Thanx for the responce so far you guys have been very helpful.
I personally like K-Jam/Vairo/Xda mini S However Im not too sure If I'll like the Qwerty Keyboard or not as it makes a little big on the hands aswell.
on the other hand MDA compact ii / QTek S110 is pretty small and has all the features of K-Jam and no Qwerty Keypad.. But this phone is already free on low tarrif line rentals.. I can get that for £15 Ufix contract, which add's upto £180 for a year.. And here I have the opportunity of getting any phone worth upto £500.. But Im not really looking forward to re-selling the phone that I will get but if I am not satisfied with it then I mgiht have to so therefore it has to have some re-sale value

O2 are to release XDA Atom very soon, Which has a 2mp Camera aswell as wifi.. and i-mate JAMin is due to release soon aswell...
I might tell the insurance company to pre-order one of the above, As Im not totally happy with the ones that are already available..
Wish me Luck!
