For K750 users with R1AA008,please go to File Manager-Themes-Eternal theme-Set-Please wait-scroll until you highlight Sony Ericsson-press Info-then press OK-then scroll down..POOF..can you tell me what happen? I'm so sad nobody cares about this..sorry if I repost this to get more insight.

hhmmm interesting...

i guess its a flaw on the Eternal Theme not the firmware itself.. coz i tried it with other themes... it dont happen, only with Eternal...

i really dont bother... nothings wrong with the theme after that... go on to the main screen then itll be back again...

not much of a bother actually.

Well spotted however, aremaboy! Why not add it to a list of flaws in the OS and surrounds, and when it's big enough - submit it to SE. I know if I were designing something and people came to me with glitches that could be improved on - I'd jump at the opportunity!

I refer to Eternal theme because it must be there in K750,can't be deleted,pre-installed,and it is one of the very rare theme with animated highlight-using .gif file.Other themes of K750 original with animated highlight like Tile,Wave and Beam also experience this flaw. But,any theme WITHOUT animated highlight,such as Walkman,Foglight DO NOT experience this. Open Theme Creator,and you'll see it.

The word 'highlight' should be understood as technical term taken from SE Theme Creator-now version 2.10. When creating a theme,you can put animated .gif file in the 'highlight small',although in general people use .png or .jpg files on it. The problem of this missing image only occurs on 'highlight small'-NOT on 'desktop highlight,pop up highlight nor activity menu highlight'.

Of course,when I use any theme without 'animated highlight' image,I DO NOT have any problem..so,it's not the Eternal theme,I'm sure-it's the firmware!! My R1N035 didn't show this. It's the same .thm file..I have tried
installing Eternal theme again,go to SE fun and download-believe me-it's not the theme. It's the f/w. SE always performs another buggy f/w..poor me,then!

...who cares... I don't like that theme anyway... wait a sec... why and when would you need to do something like that - set the ethernal theme, then press info (which simply displays sony ericsson)? why would you need that? who would normally do that?

I found this flaw accidentally-no need to press 'info' if you don't like. What I'm trying to share with you isn't the necessity to press Info..but rather the flaw of R1AA008..this is a tiny flaw I agree,yet why did SE engineers miss such a simple thing? The problem would never be found if you didn't apply K750 original Eternal,Wave,Tile or Beam themes anyway.

Also try this.
File manager-Themes-Eternal theme-More-Sort by names-then go back to Themes album. Press any number keypad-POOF! The highlight image is gone..
