1.Where is the server located anyway?
2. What does SEUS exactly do to our phones when upgrading? Does it delete all files and install completely new ones?
3. Is upgrade the same as reflash?
If my phone is dead, can I use SEUS to reflash it?
4. What will happen if the electricity is suddenly off-or the PC hangs during downloading files and updating phase? What should I do with my phone?

5.How can Davinci,SEtool,EMMA,TMS get the flash files? Is it legal? What differences can be noticed compared to SEUS flash files? Any better?
6. Can I deceive the system by choosing the wrong country location before upgrade start so that I can get other country's f/w and language pack? Say,instead of choosing Indonesia I choose UK-so that my f/w won't be APAC_1 anymore?
7. Can I use fake DCU 60?

8. How can new bugs appear after previous ones have bčen solved?
9. Is it only SE and Siemens doing online update?Or all vendors?
10. Why does the f/w always use R....then AA..then N..then C..and digits. What do the letters and digits mean?
Thanks,SE experts in this forum..

1. The server is located in Sweden.
2. The update overwrites the current firmware on the phone, it might include writing completely new files and/or replace existing ones.
3. Yes it is
4. Try to run the update procedure again
5. EMMA III is the offical firmware update for servicepoints, this application uses the same server as update application for end users. How other firmware tools (legal? probably not...) get there files is probably a well kept secret, since the release of EMMA III has improved access security to the server, but they are either getting it from there or extracting it from the phones directly.
6. The update recognize the specific country/provider firmware by checking CDA and IMEI number.
7. Might work, it might not...
8. SEUS is a buggy enviroment, we'll just have to face that
9. It's probably just a question of time before all phone manufactures allow end users to update online.
10. has decided to use letter in the versions instead of 3.01, 5.0 etc. Nothing special about it.
