Have you noticed how Gillette are constantly bringing out new shaving razor's...first it was gillette 2 blade (2 versions) then we had mach 3 ( 2versions) then mach 3 Turbo, then mach 3 nitro..now to top it all they are soon releasing Gillette Fusion...wait for this..5 Blade Shaving system! ...what next 10 blade 20 blade...blade count seems to be going higher every few years.

Here, at Gillette, we've decided you need another blade added onto your razor every six months. "Why?" i hear you ask. Well, its simple. The more blades you have, the more money we get. We've completely lost sight of what makes a good, close, clean shave now that the marketing men have taken over, and we'll happily empty your wallet and slice open your Adams Apple. Gillette - The best a man can get. Recommended by doctors, stylists, goths, and ninjas everywhere.

LOL at slice open the adams apple...sooo true.

Basically all you need to do to understand the evolution of razor blades is look at the refill packs lined up on the shelfs, and imagine a razor with all those blades in one.

I'm sick of these multiple blades tho i always buy into them sadly...I want to learn how to use a "cut-throat" blade, they are the best, no irritation and closer then anything avialable commercially in my opinion.

'Never used this type of thing when shaving . . . I am more at ease using the battery/electric-operated ones. The models Gillette are coming out with sounds like 'titles' for luxury cars/planes . . .
