I’ve got to travel to Belgium (Brussels) on Monday (just to pick up a bloody parcel for my company) and I just want to know how long the flight time is from London and as I cant speak any other langue apart form English (I blame the schools) does anyone know if English is widely spoken out there?

Any ideas on time it takes on train?

EDIT: Found out it only takes approx 2hr30mins

Not widely, it depends on where you are in brussels but most will understand you. You have actually a better chance with flemish guys (as they can talk 3 to 4 languages) but not beeing belgian you won't recognize them
