Stop pulling your hair out mate, buy yourself a Globalsat BT338. This is widely regarded as the best. Holus also make a fine receiver bases on the Sirfstar III chipset but the BT338 runs for 18 hours on a single charge so I'd definatly recommend this one. Mine has worked brilliantly and never fails to obtain a satellite fix in around 40 seconds from "cold". Yeah, definately get a Globalsat BT338.

It doesn't have a sirfstar 3 chipset? What does it have then? And what's it price approximately?
Also i've been hearing alot about i-Blue PS-3200,which one do you think is better?
Thanx for the reply man.

Think my post was a bit confusing. Both the Holux and Globalsat receivers have sirfstar3 chips. As does the TomTom receiver. I understand that al receivers that run Sirfstar3 are pretty much equally matched perforance wise. It really is the chipset that dictates performance. I recommended the BT338 because of its excellent battery life. Im afraid I cant comment on the i-Blue PS-3200 as I have no experience of it. Im sure there wil be reviews on the net. Just Google for them.

I use a Holux GR-230, which I can fully recommend :-)
The company is also kind to answer if you mail them any questions regarding support if you get stuck :-)
The GR-230 has been used with IMate PDA2k, Nokia Communicator and even with my SE K750i - and my laptop of cause :-)
So, all in all, a good around GPS, which can be used by many devices and applications :-)
