Bookmark topic
Not sure where to put this, but the for sale forum seems best.
If any of you are offered a black V3, good condition with no exterior branding, no box or accessories, just the phone.
Could you please get the last 5 IMEI numbers for me please.
Mum had he V3 nicked last night, it's been barred, but if anyone here gets offered 1 or see's 1 on another forum I'd appreciate it.
Wanna get the guy who done this, it was a christmas present from me to my mum and she's obviously very upset about it.
Thanks for anyone's help.

It's a long shot but keep your eye on ebay for "Blocked / Barred / Faulty" mobiles. IF the person planned to sell it online, their best bet would be ebay.

Scum people that steal phones are scum...sorry to hear about that story, its not the monetary value of the thing thats stolen its the sentimental value you can't get back, like I'm sure your mum had pictures and things on the phone she won't be able to get back now...it makes me sick...and for what so someone could make a few quid...makes me sick.
If it's any consolation I think the price of V3s has gone down quite a lot, i think you can get the black one for £100 now and the pink v3 from onestopphoneshop.com is free for 10 months and you only pay for the last two months line rental (think it works out less than £70)

Ye I paid about £100 for it in December.
She wasn't upset that it had gone, she was more upset about the fact that it was a present and it had been taken away from her.
She just phoned and told me she picked up a V3i from the carphone warehouse......she couldn't work the old phone after 1 month....so this should be fun lol.

My sister's V3 has just dissapeared tonight at a footie match! She lost it, and she suspects the lads behind her picked it up and decided to keep it
Know how you feel mate, nasty isn't it!

Yep Sammy, it's not the price or type of the phone, it's the fact someone took your familys property.
I wouldn't be as bothered if it was mine, but cause they took it from my mum who works 9-5 5 days a week and was in london working, and will now worry about what my dad will say about it, it just hurts more.
If you can't afford the phone, tough sh!t, you can't have it, you shouldn't steal it.
Whats done is done I suppose.
Brings me back a few years to when my sister had her 15 hour old brand new Samsung V200 nicked.....was more than "Displeased" I guess you could say

I had the same with my one week old ngage in 2003 (i was the first one in my city who had the phone). It was stolen by two moroccan guys who hit me so much for that phone. I dont know how they knew i had it because i was listenin to music. I broke 2 of my ribs because of the fight and had an injury on my foot and my face. BUT 2 weeks later the police called me to say they got my phone back thru sattelite... Never tought i would get it back... But u never know...
