Don't think having many files makes the K750i slower.

I have a 2 GB MS PD card with aprox. 1½ GB of MP3s, videos, games, and other stuff, and I don't feel it to be slower than before I got my card.

So, big cards and many files doesn't seem to have a speed impact, but its just my feelings - could be wrong if you do a technically measurment of the speed.

Anyone who can recommend a benchmark-application?

i think the loading time will be longer (when browsing a folder with many pictures for example. but in terms of functionality (reading msgs. menus.. etc etc it shouldn't affect the speed

I have some problems with the java platform (nothing serious, jus tthe occasional lock up) when the phone is full (ie: 2-3MB free space). Memory card will make no difference whatsoever, apart from slower menu speed while viewing.
