i have a k750. most of, if not all of my friends seem to be able to send text messages via bluetooth with a variety of phones, rather than sending normally and using credit... how do you do this with the k750?

can you browse others phones files via bluetooth? my friend can do this to my phone with his k700... is it possible? if so how? if not, why take it out?

...

thanks for any replies.

well, about the text messages, I don't know about it, you don't mean bluejacking do you? also there are some java aplications that could do it.

and, yes, the phone browsing option, it is present in older SE phones, not new ones like K750. this is because of security reasons, although if someone is browsing your phone and you can't browse theirs, it's not only unfair but it shows there is no security at all! I don't really understand that part but It helps to answer your doubts.

ok, i suppose thats good about the browsing. although loads of people i know and people in my college send messages and stuff to each other using bluetooth. just normal text messages, but instead of sending them the normal way they send them via bluetooth. i don't know what programs can do this or what 'bluejacking' is... so i wouldn't know. i would assume that bluejacking is hacking using bluetooth. if so then that isn't that. they just simply ask the phone to do it, that easy...???

bluejacking consist on sending a sort of message via bluetooth without the recipient knowing who it was. in fact they just send a new contact where the message is the contact's name. you should find more about it using the search function. actually most people enjoy doing this activity.
