Hello,
Ok I’m a neophyte to this and I need help please. I just purchased an unlocked Sony Ericsson T68i and currently use Cingular Wireless (San Diego area) as my provider.
I’m having trouble setting up my T68i to use GPRS. I talked to Cingular and just like everyone else I got the same info Cingular can not help me with setting up GPRS. Well, I was able to find documentation on Cingular Wireless Device and Software Settings. The information is there and I entered all the information into the phone but I still get the following:
Last Session
Received: 0 bytes
Sent: 0 bytes
0:00:49
Is there anybody out there that can provide me (us) with the proper GPRS information and the step I (we) need to follow on getting this to work?
Thanks

Welcome to the

club my friend.
I don't know if this little information could help ya. I got my configuration here for the provider in the philippines by going to SonyEricsson's support page. They'll send you your conifguration, if they have your porvider on the list.

Does WAP work? And (not trying to insult you) do you have GPRS on your account? If so, check connect>data comm>pref service is gprs and gsm. Also in data comm you should have 3 accounts, express, home, and roam. Express is gprs. When trying to connect, you should use express.

Hello,
Thanks for all the information. I called Cingular and verified that I do have GPRS on my account. I also contacted SonyEricsson

and they were very nice and tried to help me with the settings. Anyway, still no luck but I will try again and see if I can get GPRS working on my T68i. If anyone else has any other ideas please let me know.
Thanks,
Neowolvrne
I know it can be done
