when I switch on the P800 the screen lights with the Sony Ericsson name and P800 but the power menu is not displayed. I can go no further. I cant connect via PC. The phone memory may be full.
Can anyone help?

This normally happens when the memory is full. You will need to take it to a se service centre where they can sort it. You will loose everything that was on the phone though.
It was rubbish that SE let this happen.

my P910 died because of switch problem at first

SE totally buried it they weren't able to revive after

I had seen somewhere
in this forum that the switch of SE is the most
sensitive part of the phone it will easy gets kaput
