Had it nearly a year now and its past its use by date

Until yesterday ive used the flip but decided that had to be removed since it was like a paralysed limb. It just stopped working, but only on the number side not the QWERTY side.
The jog dial wasnt too great but I thought that would be ok, guess not, trying to use the fone without a flip and partly working jog dial is a real pain in the arse..

Anyone else had these problems?
Its not like I can just go out and buy a new keypad, theyr like £30 at best. It just really annoys me, youd think theyd make the fone upto a good standard since its so expencive

Alot of these problems are caused by dust etc. I had frequent problems with my jog dial. I resolved it by getting some paper and slotting it either side of the dial and scraping out any dust. Also I would check for any dust on the connectors of the flip as well as the phone.

My P910i keypad developed the infamous "crack" and - although it continued to work - I wanted to replace it. I searched around and eventually went for http://www.excelldirect.com/p[....]acturers_id=13&products_id=371

These are not new but mine arrived in as-new condition. Priced at £14.95 it's less than half the price of a new one - delivery to Ireland was £6. I have no connection with excelldirect but can vouch for their service.

They also have jog dials but these are more tricky to fit.

the 5way jog dial is the only crappy part of the p910i imo.it's a relief it's only 3way on the p990i.

Have never had problems with 5-way jogdial on either my P900 or P910.

IMO, it's a real shame to lose the forward/backward functions on the P990.

Still gonna get one though!

I love the 5 way jog dial So sad that's being lost

But I'm pleased about the classy P900 style number keys coming back to the P990

Much, much prefer the P910's proper sized keys - the P900 design has dated badly and it's an odd decision for them to have brought it back. It's both less practical and less stylish IMHO.

never had any problems here, but i've only had my 910 since jun/jul.
@jbm. . i wouldn't call the 910 trash, it's pretty good.unlike nokia, you needn't format the thing every other week!!
