GPRS, WAP, MMS and Email setup

i have a k750 with virgin mobile. i am trying to set up wap, picture messaging, email etc via the SE support site, and it asks what connection or something you use. should i pick gprs or gsm???
also in the connection settings on the phone, in the sms settings its says that i'm using gsm, should i change that to gprs???
cos after all, if the phones got it and its quicker, should i use it?

I'd leave the sms on GSM, and have GPRS for all the other things.
