is there a way to rename an application in the application list or make an application hidden in the application list (for p910) ??

i guess you could install the program, then use fileman or something to _copy_ the installed directory to another location, uninstall the program from the app list, and run the program from that other location.
sorry mate, i have no real idea how else to do this with less of a hassle.

I also thought I had my Categories overcrowded with useless links (stuff like Remote Sync, etc), so I created a category called "¶" (yes, PI) that is sorted in the bottom, and placed all the links I don't use much in there.

Install the app to a memory card, then remove the card. I'm pretty sure that when you take the card out, all references to the app (icons as well as titles) will disappear (tho I stand to be corrected on that).
When you want to use the app, just re-insert the card.
