It's already out-of-date compared with other older browsers.

All of the 'new' features it touts in its tour have been available for years on other browsers:
Tabbed browsing (already in Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.)
Integrated search (already in Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.)
RSS feeds (already in Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.)
Improved security (hey, it couldn't be any worse!)

Sorry, Microsoft - far too little, far too late.

And Microsoft have already publically stated that IE7 won't pass the Acid2 web-standards test. Currently, Safari on Mac OS X is the only non-beta shipping browser to pass the test.

H've tree it for a few weeks not. I constantly get error messages and it closer it self down, runs mega slow when got 3-windows open and the menus are a bitch-don't get me started on the diddy icons! In process of downgradin to IE6! This message was posted from a WAP device

you can uninstall ie7 once installed!!

ive been trying for months.

just get more ram, worked for me, ie7 is now smooth and fast

although im on ie7 beta 1 not 2 esp if 2 is only a preview!!

I've had so many issues recently affecting my pc because of beta software im never going to use anything beta ever again...better to wait longer and get the bug free version,although windows is never completely bug free anyway!

Using it for a few days now.

I still have to get used to it. Looks good to me though.
I refuse to use firefox because i hate those "internet comunists" that hate micro$oft "just because"!!!

I hope you get released soon.

Until then why not give it a go, not just because of this new terror threat, the internet communists. It doesn't riddle itself through your system so its easy to remove if you don't like it. (Nothing Anti ms about it, more Pro system choice

)
