/// and se fones arnet the fastest ones, probably u have too much messages stored, del them and lets see what happens. i dont have w9, so have no experiences with it, but thats the first logical step imo.

yes i think its the most logical thing to do is to free up some space...
since youve got 90+ items on your Inbox... nevermind the SMS Inbox.. just the Email Inbox..

ok ive deleted about 20 messages already and its taken me about an hour to do so coz it just keeps on lagging. i guess my last resort is to do a master reset.
if i do a master reset will it delete all my messages on my phone and all my contact numbers?

If you do a master reset you will loose everything. Contacts, messages, games, sounds, pictures, etc...

ok i fixed the problem. i noticed that the night before my phone started to lag was when i added a ring tone to each contact on my phone. so what i did was back up the contacts to my memory stick, delete my ringtones, delete my contacts, then restore my contacts from my memory stick. everything is back to normal.
so what i did now is assign ringtones to my contacts again. i like assigning boys, girls, and family with separate ringtones. what i noticed was the more contacts i assign with ringtones the more my phone would lag when im in the messages functions. i had assigned 200 contacts with ringtones and my phone would lag for about 10 seconds whenever id click on something in the messages menu. i tried assigning each contact with a ringtone again and i noticed that when i entered the messages menu it would lag again. so right now i only have about 15 contacts assigned with ringtones and now my phone only lags about 1 second when i click on a funtion within the messages menu. anyone know why this happens?

Sounds like a perfect bugreport to send to
as developer it's great to get feedback on how to recreate the problem.
One thing that would be better is if anyone else can confirm this.
Ericsson should defenitly get info and fix this imho.

@Kobe19,
try also to udate your phone software from the SE site. For example I had a problem with my 512 Mb memory stick (included in the pack) and after the update - the problem has gone.
