Hi, Do you think my P900 cradle would work with my T630 to do a firmware change? thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, but when I use the Sony Ericsson update software for upgrading the firmware, i got an error that the phone isn't connected...any ideas?

Damn.. I cant even get my P900 to connect..what do u thinks wrong? I ve been fiddling around with my com ports but im kind of lost..what do u recommend doing?

exactly what stand do you have? I recall that early P900's came with DSS-11 whereas SEUS is only compatible with the DSS-20 and DSS-25
might be worth checking what it says on the base of the desk stand

It's a DSS-20...But let me get something straight, when I insert the T630 on the cradle do I have to get any pop-ups from the computer to install anything?
It's been said that you have to turn off the phone to do the firmware change with SE software, but when i turn it phone the green light turns off, how would the computer know there is phone on the cradle? I'm sure there has to be some driver to be installed before doing any firmware change...thanks for any input
