I'm just wondering if anyone in UK watch Millionaire Manor on Saturday nights, which is part of the National Lottery draw?
Some friends of ours are the current residents havign won last Saturday and as the Manor is not far from where we live we spent a very pleasant evening there last night
We met Mark Durden-Smith who presents the lottery and the Millionaire Manor game and also the lady who gives all the statistics of the lottery game.
Harvey, the butler, was serving us food and drinks and telling us a few interesting stories. Apparantly he really is a butler but has had a few small film parts including working with Judi Dench and Keira Knightly in Pride and Prejudice
Its a massive house with huge bedrooms, spa, gym, games room with bar and juke box, plasma TVs everywhere including the Kitchen where there are also 6 dish washers!
when we arrived though it was a bit crazy with lots of people milling around as the mid-week draw was being rehearsed as it went out live from that location late last night.
anyway, I just wondered if anybody watches that show?

I have to admit I had never heard of it until these friends mentioned they would be on.
So we watched it the week before to get an idea and then watched it last Saturday when they won
and we probably won't watch it again if they don't win again this week
they've had a good time though including going to Mary Poppins in London and a power boat trip up the thames and two of the lads are training with Bristol City football club today.

Don't live a little, live a Lotto! as Billy Connolly famously said. Strangely, it coincided with the virtual demise of his career...
