My phone:
AT&T T68m GSM
PROBLEM:
I need it unlocked to use for T-mobile.
In Process of a solution:
I bought the data cable from
http://logosunlimited.co.uk
(May I add that they are great)
I also bought a log-in name and password to get it unlocked.
I also downloaded their logger program.
The Ultimate Problem:
1. I don't know if the data cable (T28/T28SC) actually works, is there a way to test it?
I downloaded other programs from SE and all of them can't detect the phone.
2. I'm only behind a router, would that have any effect?
3. On their site it says "if the phone is plugged in to the com port, the phone can't turn on", but mine is able to turn on if you hold "NO" for 10 seconds
4. Do I need to change my com-port settings?

I also had the problem of the phone not being discovered by the computer, Or so I thought. Turns out, when I plug the phone in to the data cable, it needs to take a few minutes to find it. I have an old HP 733MHZ with 64MB RAM. It's pretty slow ok? So maybe that might be your problem of not finding the phone, try leaving it connected for a few, until you see it say it's connected. JUST A THOUGHT!
