I see lots of posts on here about new firmware and how to do it. Can someone tell me what you achieve by upgrading firmware as it seems to give people a lot of problems. I find the headset settings on my P910i when used with my Bluetooth Parrot CK3100 car kit, very limited. Are there improvements in later firmware? My old Nokia gave me a lot more info on my carkit than this phone. I'm also currently locked to Orange in UK.
I'm not sure which of these numbers are my firmware,
PDA: CXC162041 R4A10 050120
Bluetooth: CXC162028/1 R24
Phone: R4D006 CXC162042
CDA:162006/5 R4A02

Believe me that there are many more problems that have been resolved by upgrading, than otherwise.
People generally do not post when problems are solved, but they DO post when they exist.

I believe the Orange firmware is quite old.
Do you have QuickPoint installed with QuickOffice?
It came with one of the firware upgrades.
