Hi. I've got a samsung e350. A mp3 music file was sent to my phone via bluetooth. I tried deleting it, and when I press delete, it says, "failed." The song just won't come off my phone. What can I do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think you are trying to delete the song when it is in use by the player. Try closing it first and them delete it.
If not, check if the file's attribute is read-only.

No, I don't delete it when it is in use. I turn it off, then select it and delete it. I've been able to delete other songs from my phone. That is the only one that won't come off. I have no clue why.

It is not a read only file. The properties seem normal enough. It's mp3 format. 80kbps bitrate. 222kbyte in size. Protection on it is OFF so it's not as if it is being protected from deletion. This seems like a normal file, nothing weird about it. So I wonder why it won't go away

Thanks for the reply. If anyone else has any idea what I can do about this, please let me know!

Try pasting another song with the same filename and extension into that folder. Chances are it might get overwritten and you may be able to delete that track. Just a suggestion...Worth a try

That's an interesting suggestion. I'll see if I can do that and let you know if it works.
